Firgarth Guest House

The Firgarth Guest House is situated between Ambleside and Bowness. The en suite rooms have traditional and modern decors, all with flat-screen TVs and DVD players, and some with an iPod dock.

Travel information :

By Car (from the M6):
- From junction 36 of the M6 follow the A591 to Windermere.
- Once you arrive in Windermere you will see Windermere Hotel on your right and NatWest bank on the left.
- You continue along this road (Ambleside Road A591 heading to Ambleside), past St Mary's Church again on your left and you will find us situated on the left hand side 100 yards before a mini roundabout.

Please note that the guest house is regretfully unable to accept any arrivals after 20:00.
Bookings for 3 rooms or more cannot be accepted. Single sex groups are also not accepted.

Minimum Stays:
Please note that when booking there is a minimum stay of 2 nights, and 3 nights during public holidays.

Payment Information:
The guest house does not accept American Express cards.

Smoking:
All areas of the Firgarth are non-smoking. The guest house reserves the right to charge an extra night’s stay (at the prevailing bed and breakfast rate and using the credit card given to secure the booking) if they have to especially clean and air the room for 24 hours before another guest can occupy it.

Please note that the Firgarth is a guest house and, whilst high standards are offered, it is important to remember that it is not a hotel.
